Coming home to a flat full of sunflowers🌻

It’s been one hell of a month. From highs to lows, I’m quickly learning nothing ever goes to plan with cancer. To always expect the unexpected.

While my lumpectomy went well, managing to clear my margins & heal pretty quickly we where then hit with the results.

The b*stard had spread into 3 of my nodes. Not the news we wanted to hear. Chemo is now back on the table. Opening the flood gates for an overwhelming amount of new tests/swabs/scans/fertility appointments.

While preparing for my next big operation in a matter of days, a full nodes clearance - getting every single one of those nodes out this time round! An over night stay in a Margate ward, with a drain fitted & another pair of those sexy stockings to look forward too.

But in the meantime celebrating the little victories along the way, as my full body pet scan came back CLEAR! A huge sense of relief, finally some positive results.
